75 East End Avenue: Review and Ratings

between East 82nd Street & East 83rd Street View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 75 East End Avenue by Carter Horsley

This 20-story, dark brick building was erected in 1963 and converted to a cooperative in 1963. Very close to both Carl Schurz Park and some of the city's best schools, this building has corner windows at 83rd Street and all its 190 apartments have large picture windows. The building has a concierge and a doorman. Although architecturally rather spartan, the building's prime location on the quiet, sedate and elegant East End Avenue is a major attraction.
