This 31-story apartment tower was built as a condominium in 1982.

The attractive, doorman building has 166 apartments, many with corner windows. The sheer tower, which has no balconies, is well proportioned and its short ends have a slightly protruding center bay that is a pleasing form.

It has a prime Upper West Side location just a couple of blocks south of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and a couple of blocks north of Columbus Circle.

Central Park is just a short walk to the east and the area abounds in restaurants and major retail stores are just a few blocks to the north.

The area's heavy existing traffic will be exacerbated by the eventual redevelopment of the long delayed and controversial mixed-use project for the site of the New York Coliseum at Columbus Circle as well as the far larger Riverside South project to the west. Nonetheless, this vibrant area may well be the most definitive neighborhood in the city, if not the most desirable, because of its wide array of amenities and mix of building types and architecture.
