This pleasant, 16-story, white brick apartment building at 333 East 34th Street was erected in 1961 and converted to condominium apartments in 2003.

It is located between the Tunnel Approach Street to the Queens Midtown Tunnel and First Avenue.

The tunnel area near the East River was significantly redeveloped in the late 1980s and the 1990s with many high-rise luxury apartment buildings that are north of "Hospital Alley" and south of the United Nations complex on First Avenue.

This building, which has 206 apartments, has a one-step-up, canopied entrance with glass doors and the center portion of the building has pale-orange bricks between the windows.

Janson Goldstein redesigned the lobby, which is attended 24 hours a day. The conversion installed new elevators and there are laundry facilities on 10 floors. The building has a garage.

The building has one- and two-bedroom apartments with oak floors and kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

There is good bus service at this location and the Empire State Building looks particularly lovely from the entrance to this building.
