The Chelsea CLOSE
It has a doorman, a canopied entrance with polished granite surround and a revolving door, a roof deck, and a garage, but no balconies, no terraces, sidewalk landscaping and no health club.
It was designed by Marcello Ruffino Roffi.
It has an excellent Chelsea location that is also convenient to the Flatiron District. There is excellent public transportation on 23rd Street and Madison Square Park is not too far away to the east.
This area is close to the historical Ladies’ Mile shopping district along the Avenue of the Americas that in the early 1900’s housed many of the city’s most fashionable stores. It is also close to the former flower district in the mid-20s along the Avenue of the Americas that witnessed a surge of new residential development in the late 1990s just as many art galleries were relocating from SoHo to the Chelsea area.
