The Oxford BROKER AND BUYER COMMENTS

The Oxford: About the Building

"The Oxford condominium, completed in 1990, was designed by architects Emery Roth and Sons and won an award for its magnificent lobby design soon after opening. Since then they have redesigned the lobby to give it a fresher yet equally elegant look. Built with 205 units on 41 floors, the building is chock full of attractive amenities including a decadent 9,500 square-foot outdoor terrace, swimming pool, children's playroom with a catering kitchen (great for birthday parties), a large health club, garage, and my personal favorite, an outdoor basketball court! There are also 2 elevator banks of 2 elevators each so you won't ever be waiting for an elevator. The apartments feature private washers and dryers, oversized herringbone wood floors, most have balconies with spectacular views. You know that you have arrived when you walk down to covered walkway to the building. Pets are welcomed."

"The building is absolutely filled with young children. Perfect for a new family. There is a gym and playroom with storage in the basement. Access to the gym so you never have to go outside after parking. The entire building has exquisite fixtures and marble."

"Considered one of the best condos on the Upper East Side. Pool, health club, and wonderful children`s room with outside area for play."

The Oxford: About the Neighborhood

"The neighborhood has a great school district, PS 183."

The Oxford: About the Board

"Very reasonable board approval. Standard condo board. Fairly slow with processing so I would recommend completing the package as fast as possible and submit if time is of the essence."
