Comment About the Building

As the name would imply this handsome tower was built by Donald Trump in 1991 and designed by Costas Kondylis, a top architect, who changed New York?s landscape in the 80?s and 90?s. At 55 Stories, it is one of the tallest residential buildings on the Upper East Side. Its amber- peach colored brick is soft and inviting and reflects a warm aura. The face of the structure is a lively pattern of windows and balconies and is slightly Art Deco in feel. The top of the building casts an inviting glow at night making Trump Palace a recognizable beacon on the Upper East Side. Its upper floor large residences offer sensational and mostly protected views of Central Park, the rolling NJ Mountains, southward iconic midtown views and northeast?all the major up town bridges and Long Island sound. 20th Floor and above brings the larger units into play many with large set back terraces. Floors 10 through 19 introduce the larger 2 and 3 bedroom units. Floors 10, 11, and 12 plus 14-19 have five units per floor. Studios and one bedroom units make up the majority of mix to the 10th Floor. One third of the building?s units are located in two attached structures; the Townhouse with its own entrance on 68th Street and East Wing.
