The tower also houses PS 89 and IS 289, combining residential and educational uses under one roof. Its name refers to the pedestrian bridge across West Street, which connects the block with Tribeca.
Developed by Glenwood Management, the tower was designed by Costas Kondylis and Associates, Richard Cook and Associates, and Pasanella + Klein Stolzman + Berg. An entrance marquee marks the base, while the asymmetrical massing incorporates four setbacks.
The building has a 24 hour doorman and concierge, a fitness center, children’s playroom, bicycle room, mail and package facilities, and a rooftop terrace. Apartments are equipped with in-unit washer dryers, supplemented by a shared laundry room. The address is near the northern end of Battery Park City, with the Hudson River esplanade to the west and the West Street bridge leading east into Tribeca.
