140 West 74th Street is a Upper West Side co-op formed from three adjoining Queen Anne style brownstone townhouses at 140, 142, and 144 West 74th Street. Built in 1888 and 1889, the properties were combined in 1969 and 1970 and established as a co-op in 1978, retaining the scale and architectural character of townhouse living while adding shared building services.
The building’s apartments include a range of vertically arranged layouts, from junior one bedrooms to duplexes and a rear facing triplex that spans the garden, parlor, and third floors.
