Charney Companies is developing a 38-story mixed-use tower at 95 Rockwell Place at the cusp of Brooklyn’s Downtown Brooklyn and Fort Greene neighborhoods. Rising to 418 feet, the building will span 167,679 square feet and feature 158 residential units averaging 855 square feet each, along with 32,568 square feet of commercial space and a cellar level. Designed by Fogarty Finger, the project is located between Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street, directly behind The Ashland, another prominent residential skyscraper.
The project is within easy walking distance of the Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center, providing convenient access to multiple subway lines (2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R) and the Long Island Rail Road. The prime location enhances its appeal for residents and businesses alike.
The site was previously occupied by a five-story structure. Originally, the plot was slated to host a 200-key Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, but plans shifted to residential use.
In May 2025, developer Charney Companies announced construction loan financing for 95 Rockwell Place, a 45-story condominium in Fort Greene. Upon completion the 128 studio to three-bedroom units will have access to amenities like a gym, a steam room and spa, a coworking lounge, a party room, and outdoor garden space. Completion is estimated for Q4 2027.
