One Flatbush is a 19 story, 183 unit rental completed in 2018 at the sharp intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Hill West Architects adapted the tower to its wedge shaped site, setting it back above the 12th floor and pairing a dark red base with strongly patterned multipane windows and metal accents. Slate Property Group developed the building with Capstone Equities and the Carlyle Group.
Apartments have open plan layouts, in-unit laundry and central air conditioning. The tower’s geometry produces numerous corner and angled window walls, while long terraces recur among upper floor two bedroom layouts. Interiors use driftwood toned hardwood floors, quartz kitchen surfaces, shaker cabinetry and subway tiled bathrooms.
The attended lobby has concierge service, while the shared spaces include a fitness center, yoga studio, lounge with coworking areas, game room, sports court and communal dining room. A landscaped roof deck has barbecue grills, seating and dining areas, complemented by a wraparound outdoor patio. Package facilities, resident storage and bicycle storage are also part of the building.
Fulton Mall runs along Fulton Street outside the building, and Barclays Center is southwest along Flatbush Avenue. The residential entrance is marked by a bronze marquee on Fulton Street, and pets are permitted.
