The Durst Organization has put its 1800 Park Avenue site in East Harlem up for sale, offering nearly 700,000 square feet of buildable floor area near the 125th Street transit hub. Acquired in 2016 for $91 million, the property’s development has been delayed by subway easement negotiations and the expiration of the 421a tax incentive. With the new 485x program now in place, interest in the site is already surging.
