Designed by award-winning architect Frida Escobedo in collaboration with Handel Architects, the building houses 222 studio to two-bedroom apartments above 27,000 square feet of space dedicated to the National Black Theatre (NBT). Founded in 1968, NBT is the nation's oldest Black theater owned and operated by a Black woman, and its state-of-the-art facilities, designed by Marvel Architects, include a 250-seat immersive technology performance space, a 99-seat flexible studio theater, rehearsal rooms, offices, classrooms, and a set building shop supporting workforce development in theatrical trades.

The building is pet friendly and includes a custom resident app. Residents pay a $75 monthly amenities fee, with additional charges of $50 per month for pets and $25 per month for bike storage. Water and gas are included in rent, while residents cover electricity, cable, and internet separately.

The building offers a 24 hour attended lobby, fitness and yoga studios, a coworking lounge with private workspace, and a library curated by Phaidon Press. Multiple outdoor spaces include a fifth floor park terrace, a courtyard, and a 22nd floor rooftop terrace with grilling stations and a rooftop lounge.
