123 Fort Greene Place is a six unit condominium created through the restoration and combination of two historic townhouses, completed in 2013. The project was developed by Barrett Design & Development, with residences organized around the original townhouse proportions while introducing open living spaces, high ceilings, divided lite wood windows, and wide plank oak flooring.
The apartments include both single level homes and duplexes, with private entrances, terraces, gardens, patios, and roof decks represented across the building. Many residences have generous outdoor space and flexible lower or upper levels, while the townhouse width allows for unusually broad living areas in some layouts. Kitchens are generally open to living and dining spaces, and in unit laundry is a recurring feature.
Building amenities include Central AC, a rooftop terrace, outdoor entertainment space, in unit washer and dryer infrastructure, and common basement storage. The renovation preserves prewar details such as exposed brick, wood burning fireplaces, and custom windows alongside contemporary kitchens and bathrooms.
The building is on a tree lined block in Fort Greene, one block from the Brooklyn Academy of Music and close to Fort Greene Park, Barclays Center, restaurants, cafes, and shops. The Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center station, served by the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, and Q trains, is about two blocks away, with the LIRR terminal at the same complex.
