This handsome, 12-story apartment building at 365 Bond Street on the esplanade park along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn at erected in 2016.

It contains 430 rental apartments.

It was developed by the Lighthouse Group.

Goldstein, Hill & West are the architects.  Weintraub Diaz are the landscape architects and the interiors were handled by Mark Zeff.

The building is convenient to a Whole Foods store and the R and F subways.

Bottom Line

A very attractive, full-service rental building on the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn with a garden courtyard, a library with a fireplace, a roof deck, and children’s playroom.

Description

The building has red-brick façades in front of higher glass façades, each with different multi-paned façades.

There is a large garden area closest to the canal and the building has sidewalk landscaping.

The building has a very handsome, landscaped courtyard with multi-paned windows.

It has a spacious, double-height lobby with tall, circular brick columns and patterned brick paving.

Apartment C1 on the sixth floor is a one-bedroom unit with a 24-foot-long living/dining area with an open kitchen and an angled 13-foot-long bedroom.
