365 Bond Street is a 12 story rental with 700 apartments on the Gowanus Canal waterfront, completed in 2016 beside the esplanade and park. Designed by Goldstein, Hill & West and developed by the Lighthouse Group, the building pairs red brick street façades with taller glass sections and multipaned industrial style windows. A large canal side garden and landscaped interior courtyard extend the architecture into the waterfront setting.
Mark Zeff designed the interiors, while Weintraub Diaz handled the landscape design. Apartments have wide plank white oak floors, in-unit laundry, open kitchens, and casement style windows with views toward the canal, Carroll Gardens, or the Manhattan skyline. Several floor plans use long angled entry foyers to organize the living spaces, and Townhome C22 is a duplex with its living and dining area on the lower level.
The building has 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a pool, fitness center, garden courtyard, and rooftop terraces with barbecues. A library and club room share a fireplace, while additional spaces include a game room, residents lounge, catering kitchen with private dining, and children’s playroom. A 24 hour attended lobby and concierge are joined by indoor valet parking, bicycle and resident storage, laundry facilities, and valet services.
