419 Park Avenue South was constructed as an office building in 1927. In August 2024, developer Elad Group bought the building for $72 million with plans for a condo conversion. The 20-story building is set to benefit from spectacular views.
According to permits, there will be 107 apartments with no more than seven units per floor. Residential amenities will include a package room, bike storage, a fitness center, a spa area with sauna and steam room, a social lounge, a children's playroom, and a roof terrace. It is located on the southeast corner of East 29th Street near NoMad dining, AMC Kips Bay movie theater, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and the 28th Street 6 train.
