Opened in 2012, the gray brick and glass building was designed by David Gross of GP55 Partners, with setbacks and balconies breaking up its park facing façade.
The building occupies the former site of the Church of the Master. Its demolished 1893 building was originally Morningside Presbyterian Church; in 1938, James H. Robinson reopened it as the Church of the Master, whose congregation grew from 10 people at its first service to more than 1,000 by 1960.
Apartments commonly have high ceilings, oversized windows, open living and kitchen plans, central air, and in-unit laundry. Corner and upper floor residences draw eastern and southern exposures toward Morningside Park and the Midtown skyline, while balconies and terraces are incorporated into several layouts.
