In March 2024, developer Chris Jiashu Xu, bought a Long Island City development site at 42-50 24th Street for $57.5 million from a joint venture that includes Fisher Brothers and the Hakim Organization. The property is a block from another of Xu's projects, and his portfolio includes Skyline Tower, Queens' tallest residential building.
