Biggest Deals: Manhattan's High-End Market in Strong Streak as 20 East End's Penthouse Finds Buyer

The Manhattan luxury market saw a total of 21 contracts signed last week, marking the sixth straight week that sales priced $4 million and above have passed the 20-deal mark, according to Olshan Realty’s weekly market report.

The top contract comes from a 6,292-square-foot penthouse in the Robert A.M Stern-designed 20 East End Avenue. The unit, PHB, is in-contract for nearly $28 million – the highest sale ever recorded on East End Avenue. Although it is a new development, the elegant limestone building exudes some serious pre-war vibes that Stern has proven he can pull off time and time again (See 250 West 81st Street). And of course, residents can expect a ton of high-end finishes and amenities that include a concierge, drive-in motor court, fitness center, private dining room with wine storage, game room, and a junior lounge.

Check out the top five in-contract listings below.
