Chelsea's d'Orsay Reaches Penthouse Floor; $79 Million Sellout Planned for Collection of 21 Jacques Garcia-Designed Condos

The d'Orsay is a new condominium building rising at 211 West 14th Street in Chelsea, between Seventh and Eighth avenues. The apartment house is from developers Adellco which purchased the property in April 2014 for $27.64 million, and tapped architecture firm Goldstein, Hill, & West to design the new building. Expected to be complete in 2017, the building is now framing its uppermost eleventh story. Ultimately, the building will accommodate 21 condominium units appointed by a delectable set of amenities.
Construction progress as of the second week of December

The renowned Jacques Garcia designed the building’s interiors, which range from one- to four-bedroom residences. The project reigns as his first multifamily residential building in the city, in a portfolio that includes the Nomad Hotel and the Decorative Arts Galleries at the Louvre. The firm will finish the residences in pale gray oak floors, Calacatta Caldia, and Nuvolato marble, and bronze accents. Kitchens feature bronze painted cabinetry, honed slab marble countertops and islands, fully vented five burner Wolf cooktops with wall ovens, and wet bars with wine refrigerators. Many units will also include a terrace.

Sales at the d’Orsay launched this past spring, and there are currently two units listed on the building's website; a 1-bed/1-bath for $1.675 million and a 2-bed/2.5-bath for $3.4 million.
The new building has a prime location on 14th Street in Chelsea. It is only blocks from the High Line, the historic West Village and the vibrant Meatpacking District.
