Willow House was designed by New Jersey-based firm MVMK to include sustainable elements. The building is part of Advance Realty Investors' broader plan for the North End of Hoboken that calls for approximately 1,500 new housing units, new retail, dining, and recreation space, and public improvements including new outdoor space, bike lanes, and promenades. Additional projects in the works include 1500 Clinton Street, which is aiming for LEED Silver certification and set to offer 382 new housing units, a new public library branch, and new green space; 1500 Grand Street, a two-building, 420-unit development taking shape on the former sites of a parking lot and the former headquarters of printer Poggi Press; and 1417 Adams Street, which will include a pickleball facility and 117 apartments, 26 of which will be affordable.
Willow House includes 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, which will be occupied by Starbucks and CorePower Yoga, and is located across the street from Harlow, another Advance Realty Investors building with a Trader Joe's grocery store and Wine Dad's liquor store in the base.
