Select studio, one- and two-bedroom listings at Brooklyn's 42-story Avalon Fort Greene rental tower currently offer up to $208 per month in savings when a new lease is signed, and select three-bedroom listings offer two weeks free, according to the building's official website. Available units include studios from $2,845/month, one-bedrooms from $3,290/month, two-bedrooms from $5,007/month and three-bedrooms from $5,580/month.

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, the tower was erected in 2009 by AvalonBay Communities and designed by Perkins Eastman Architects. The light-orange masonry is cooled off by the columns of corner windows that span floor-to-ceiling. The top few stories have setback apartments and the entrance to the building boasts a 17,000-square-foot park-style outdoor plaza.

Apartments interiors bring features that outstand even the high-end luxury apartments of the city. While the full list has more than enough features to name, highlights are Avalon’s maple cabinetry, granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, recessed lighting, patio balconies, and blends of hardwood and ceramic tile flooring. A full appliance package, including air conditioning, a dishwasher, washer/dryer and self-cleaning oven, certainly augments Avalon’s appeal.

The building does not come short on amenities either. The 2,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center stands out among them, but the resident clubhouse, resident Wi-Fi enabled lounge, landscaped courtyards, bike racks & bike storage are all equally noteworthy. And the building has worked hard to put the “Green” in Fort Greene, as community recycling bins, sustainable lighting work, and smart rain sensors to conserve water are integral parts of the everyday experience for residents.

And for all you dog-lovers, the building is pet-friendly.
