Shortly after East Harlem condo Huxley launched sales, the team announced that a one-bedroom unit asking $715K had already entered contract. Publicly listed units range from $500K for studios to $1.165 million for three-bedrooms. In a nod to buyers' top priorities in the wake of the pandemic, many units feature private outdoor space, home offices, or both. Move-ins are estimated for March 2022.
Huxley went up on the former site of the Church of the Holy Agony, which was deconsecrated in 2017 as part of the Roman Catholic diocese's reoganization. Wonder Works is at the helm of the new building, and the design by Workshop DA features an energy-efficient rain screen and oversized, high-performance windows that can assure residents of abundant natural light.
