We've come across a new rendering for the residential project taking place at 2475 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, between West 131st Street and West 132nd Street.
Permits for the property were first filed last year by developer Almat Group, with Union Street Studio listed as the Applicant of Record. The exterior is being redone and an additional floor is being added. According to city records, the building was purchased from First Ebenezer Baptist Church in March 2017 for $1,706,800. The rental building directly next door at 2457 Frederick Douglass Boulevard recently underwent extensive renovations to both the exterior and interior, too.
When complete, the structure will have six floors with eight residential units spread throughout, likely rentals. Permits show the first floor will be used as a church and will also hold the residential lobby. Residential units will be on the second through sixth floors, and will include both a duplex unit and a triplex unit.
