HAP Investments Developers have been busy with a number of their in-progress developments throughout NYC and even Jersey City - including HAP Eight and HAP Tower - but progress has been relatively slow at one of their project sites at 2338 Second Avenue in East Harlem. Called HAP Two, the future nine-story building has been under construction since early 2015, and according to site photos taken by CityRealty this past weekend, the structure has yet to reach its full height. For some perspective, the much larger rental development Acacia Gardens has already topped out down the block. However, with a new anticipated completion date of April 2018, it looks like construction on HAP Two will be accelerating rather quickly from here on out.

A newly-posted rendering at the site shows HAP Two has also undergone a major facade change which draws inspiration from Brooklyn's Tetris-like design trend. The Chelsea-based firm Daniel Goldner Architects was enlisted for this design as well as for another HAP development called The Highbridge (16 units available).
The new rental will eventually have 22,102 square feet of residential space along with commercial space and a community facility occupying the ground floor. Amenities offered will include a fitness center, bike parking, a laundry room, and a common roof deck.
