West Chelsea most elegant newcomer,Soori High Line, represents architect Soo Chan’s groundbreaking New York debut. Construction is finally winding down and interiors are being fit out. This past November one of the building's ppenthouses was signed into contract for $6.25 million. This floor-through two-bedroom, 2.5-bath is reached by private elevator and opens to a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, and access to an oversized roof terrace with stunning northern views. This is not the only private outdoor space; the master suite has a private terrace of its own along with southern exposures, walk-in closet, and marble bath with radiant heated flooring, freestanding soaking tub, marble shower with Dornbacht fixtures, and his and hers vanities.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, only two listings have not yet entered contract. Unit #4B is a two-bedroom, two-bath home listed for $2.985 million. Unit #5D is a $9.75 million duplex with five bedrooms, five baths, and a partially enclosed heated pool. Like all units, they have full-height windows, limestone floors with radiant heating in all living areas, and Varenna Poliform kitchens with Miele and Sub-Zero appliances. In case this somehow isn’t satisfactory, purchasers have the option to privately commission SCDA Architects for further customization.

The Soori High Line is located around the corner from the 28th Street and 30th Street entrances of the High Line. Its West Chelsea address surrounds it with all the galleries, performance venues, dining, and nightlife options that make the neighborhood one of the city's most desirable. It is also an earshot away from the coming offices, dining, hospitality, and culture of Hudson Yards.
