Wraps Come Off of ODA's 100 Norfolk Street, See What's Left for Sale

Recent photos of ODA's 100 Norfolk Street show that the cantilevered condo building is now fully unveiled after construction wraps have come completely off the building. Located in the Lower East Side, this 12-story, 38-unit glass structure topped out in August but has been in development since early 2013. Adam America Real Estate along with partners The Naveh Shuster Group and The Horizon Group serve as the developers.

The masterminds at ODA Architecture, known for designing other irregularly-shaped buildings like 420 Kent and 22-22 Jackson, took advantage of the unused bulk from surrounding properties to create a "stepping volume" that hangs over the adjacent low-rise buildings much like an "upside-down wedding cake." This development, along with the next-door Blue and the upcoming Essex Crossing project, are all redefining the gritty Lower East Side (to the dismay of many) into a luxury condo hotspot.
