Plans to nearly double 1516 Fulton Street in size, and that vision just got one step closer: A rendering on designer Input Creative Studio’s Instagram shows a brick building with oversized, metal-framed windows towering over its nearest neighbors.
According to plans filed with the city, the 23 apartments will be spread out with four each on the second through sixth floors, and three apartments on the seventh floor. It is not known yet whether the new apartments will be condos or rentals, but YIMBY notes that the average unit is about as small as the building code allows.

New amenities will include a bike room, laundry room, and roof deck. Residents will appreciate having the Kingston-Throop Avs. Subway stop on the corner and a supermarket one block away. Directly next door to the project is Eli Karp's Hello Fulton at 1520 Fulton Street. That 50-unit rental should kick-off leasing any day now.
