An awe-inspiring and decadent penthouse at The Merchant’s House in trendy Tribeca is currently for sale. The penthouse, or #PHAC, is located at 35 North Moore Street on one of Tribeca's most fabled and coveted streets. Built in 1905 and fully renovated, the Romanesque Merchant’s House is an 8-story boutique loft condominium with a private garage and 23 residential lofts encompassing 32,000 square feet of retail space in four landmarked Tribeca warehouses and factory buildings. To create this very large loft, two penthouses were combined to create PHAC, which resulted in the unit having two wings, one northern, one southern. The Tribeca area, known for its large lofts in industrial buildings, has the best restaurants in Manhattan and is home to many celebrities, including Robert DeNiro. In fact, The Merchant’s House penthouse used to be owned by former Nets guard Deron Williams, who bought the apartment for $15.8 million in 2013. In addition, the singer Adele rented the penthouse for almost three weeks during her New York City tour.
