Reed Krakoff's celebrated fashion career includes executive positions at Coach and Tiffany & Co., and he has recently been named creative chairman at John Hardy. His wife, Delphine Krakoff, is principal of celebrated interior design firm Pamplemousse Design. In an interview with Town & Country, Ms. Krakoff said, "For us collecting is more about curating than accumulating...After we live with them for a few years, it's not that we don't love them anymore—we're ready to start creating something new." Perhaps that mindset prompted the couple to list the townhouse for $42 million in May 2022. But while a number of items from the townhouse went up for auction in June 2022, the house itself remains on the market. It recently had its price cut to $36,000,000.
