Fifth Avenue (CityRealty) Fifth Avenue (CityRealty)
Two of the most expensive co-op sales in Manhattan last month were in Fifth Avenue buildings on the Upper East Side—while the third most expensive co-op sale was in a small West Village building.

The priciest co-op sale was in Parc V at 785 Fifth Avenue, a co-op built in 1963. David Geffen sold unit 17AB in the building for $24.5 million. The music industry bigwig purchased the 5,000ft2 unit for $14.17 million in 2010.

The third priciest co-op sale, and the only one not on the Upper East Side, was in the six-unit West Village building at 165 Perry Street. Unit 6 in the building, which has five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, went for $18 million. More details can be found here.
