Proof of that can be found at 165 Perry Street: The 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath penthouse, where Robert De Niro lived for two years after his uptown home was damaged in a fire, was originally listed for $40 million in April 2015. Three years, a few price cuts, and several market corrections later, it has sold for $18 million. Bethenny Frankel visited the penthouse but didn’t buy it – according to Acris, that honor goes to an entity known as The FG&N Trust.
