From August 14-20, 2022, it was a highly successful week for full-floor apartments on Billionaires' Row. While the 115th floor at Central Park West ultimately closed for 31% below the asking price, its price of $43,896,500 was nevertheless the top sale of the past week by far. Several blocks east at 520 Park Avenue, the 32nd floor sold for $27,000,000 in the second-highest sale of the week.
The top co-op sale took place at The Majestic, an Art Deco-style building located at 115 Central Park West with New York's backyard and The Dakota as its nearest and best-known neighbors. Apartment #14C sold for $17,250,000, or $1 million under the last asking price. The sellers were listed as Michael Clifford and Robert Levy, and Crain's New York Business identified the buyer as Henry Tisch, a co-producer of the forthcoming Museum of Broadway and a son of Loews Group president Jonathan Tisch.
