How was this building rated?

Once a turn-of-the-century, cast-iron warehouse, this seven-story building was converted into 24 cooperative apartments in late 2004.

The mid-block building has a 16-foot-high lobby, central air-conditioning and heating and apartments have ceilings that range in height from 10 to 16 feet and many have cast-iron columns and some have skylights and terraces. The apartments also have large, double-hung thermal windows, washers and dryers, oak floors and stainless steel kitchen appliances and Poggenpohl kitchen cabinets.

Initial prices ranged from $395,000 for a studio unit with more than 600 square feet to two-bedroom units with up to 1,500 square feet for more than $1 million. The penthouse, which has two terraces and a gas fireplace and 2,163 feet of interior space, was priced at $2,450,000.

The building's location in Clinton is convenient to many restaurants on Ninth Avenue and it is only a few blocks from the Time-Warner Center at Columbus Circle and not far from the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
