Local sommelier Yannick Benjamin will curate the casino's wine and cocktail offerings.
In late May 2025, developer Silverstein Properties released new renderings of The Avenir, its proposed development on West 41st Street and Eleventh Avenue. It will include a 1,000-room hotel, a second-story casino, more than a dozen restaurants and bars, a full-floor "community gallery," and the creation of over 100 permanently affordable apartments off-site. The developer says the new design was shaped by feedback from local residents and stakeholders, and that the site is "shovel-ready." The Avenir is one of two remaining casino bids on Manhattan's West Side.
