Murray Hill Marquis is a 37 story rental at 150 East 34th Street that opened as the Affinia Dumont Hotel in 1987. The LeFrak Organization converted the property to 260 apartments in 2017; it occupies a mid-block site between Lexington and Third avenues in Murray Hill.
Bauer Dermel was the architect for the residential conversion. The straight sided brown brick tower is set back in a plaza and has a rusticated two story base, a large entrance marquee, and horizontal bands of light red brick. Studio layouts have rectangular living rooms measuring 16 to 21 feet.
The building has a 24 hour attended lobby and concierge, a fitness center with a yoga studio, a residents club and game room, a coworking space, business center, mail room, and laundry room. Pets are allowed subject to screening and a monthly fee; gas is included, while electricity, water, and heat are metered.
