This attractive, beige-brick, mid-block apartment building was erected in 1929 and converted to a cooperative in 1972.
The 10-story building has 38 apartments.
The building has a one-story limestone base, a canopied entrance, sidewalk landscaping and a nice balustraded roofline.
It is just to the west of a garage building.
This is one of the more desirable areas of the Upper East Side as it is convenient to boutiques and restaurants on Lexington, Third and Madison Avenues. Lenox Hill Hospital is two blocks to the north as is a subway station on Lexington Avenue. There is good cross-town bus service on 72nd Street.
