Carter Horsley's Building Review Carter Horsley

53 CITYREALTY RATING

Carter's Review

This attractive, beige-painted brownstone townhouse was erected in 1920 and is a cooperative with 10 apartments.

The 6-story, pale red-brick building has a three-step-down entrance, arched windows on its second floor, tall ceilings, fireplaces, and sidewalk landscaping. It has no doorman, no garage, no balconies and no health club.

This building has an excellent Upper East Side location that is close to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as many boutiques and art galleries on Madison Avenue and Lenox Hill Hospital on Park Avenue.

It is across the street from several very handsome apartment buildings and several impressive townhouses.

There is good cross-town bus service on 79th Street and a subway station is at Lexington Avenue and 77th Street.
