Carter Horsley's Building Review Carter Horsley
Dec 23, 2011
63 CITYREALTY RATING

Carter's Review

This attractive, 16-story full-service building was erected in 1924 and converted to a cooperative in 1967. It has only 22 apartments.

The mid-block building has a beige-brick façade with a three-story limestone base. It has inconsistent fenestration and an exposed rooftop watertank.

The doorman building has a canopied entrance and permits protruding air-conditioners. It has a gym, bike storage, and residential storage.

It is close to a major entrance to Central Park and not far from several major museums and art galleries. Cross-town bus service is convenient as are many boutiques and restaurants.

Pets, pied-a-terres, in-unit washer and dryers, limited subletting and purchasing as an LLC are allowed.
