Review of 510 East 14th Street by Carter Horsley

These two, handsome and large, 7-story apartment buildings at 510 and 524 East 14th Street between Avenues A and B are across the street from the lower edge of the huge Stuyvesant Town complex.  They were erected in 2017 by the Extell Development Company and designed by Beyer Blinder Belle.

McGinley Design did the interiors.

The two buildings contain a total of 160 rental apartments of which 54 will be in the small, mid-block building.  Of the 160 units, 50 will be "affordable."

It is part of the EVGB complex on the block that also includes about 9,649 square feet of ground retail space and about 17,705 square feet of lower level retail space that will be occupied by Target in the mid-block building.  An article at CityRealty.com said that Extell was confident that Trade Joe will lease retail space at the corner building.
