Comment About the Building

The doorman sits at the entrance just inside the street doors. You then go down the stairs to his desk and a formal lobby with lovely French doors to a private building garden before getting to the elevator bank. There`s a laundry in the basement. The building does not have a very difficult board but the managing agnet is a bit disorganized. There`s a flip tax of 3 month`s maintenance paid by the seller. The maintenance in this building is extremely high; the apartments take a long time to sell and have to be sold at a discount. 80& financing permitted and the board will accept foreign buyers including UN diplomats. Pets are permitted. The building is located on a pretty block in Turtle Bay but it`s just slightly east of busy 3rd Avenue so it`s still pretty commercial. It`s excellent for someone who wants a mid-town location for easy access to work.
