Nine on the Hudson is a 278 unit condominium development completed in 2018 by Hovnanian Homes at Port Imperial in West New York. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve, the 13 story complex features a distinctive U-shaped layout with two dramatically different wings. The south wing showcases stepped floors above the second story with projecting piers that create corner windows, while the north wing steps inward vertically toward the courtyard. The building's white façades are punctuated by black lower floors on the south wing facing the Hudson River.

The building offers over 30,000 square feet of amenities, including a 24 hour attended lobby, infinity edge pool and hot tub, roof deck with fire pit lounge, two level fitness center, dog grooming area, and golf simulator. Its location provides direct access to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway and sits within walking distance of the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal.

Apartments feature Pedini kitchen cabinetry, Aspen quartz countertops, Bosch appliances, Thermador refrigerators, and in-unit washers and dryers. Many units incorporate angled layouts that maximize corner windows and river views, with open kitchens featuring islands as a standard design element. Unit sizes range from two bedroom apartments around 1,540 square feet to three bedroom residences up to 2,410 square feet, with most layouts including balconies or terraces. The angled window walls and corner exposures appear throughout the building, taking advantage of the waterfront location and the building's sculptural massing.
