Across the Hudson River in West New York, Hovnanian Homes is building Nine on the Hudson — a 13-story building offering 278 condominiums with sweeping views of Manhattan’s west side and the Palisades. Situated at 9 Avenue at Port Imperial, the building is within walking distance to the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal which offers scenic and easy commutes to Midtown and the Financial District
Construction topped out in January and delivery is expected in 2018. As of early May, there are 22 units on the market in a variety of layouts that range from one to three bedrooms. Many of the larger, family-size units have dens and there are also several townhouses available for sale. Purchasers will be able to take advantage of a 20-year tax savings program with a fixed 1.1% rate over the first ten years.
