Carter Horsley's Review of 239 East 79th Street

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"The 18-story, red-brick apartment house at 239 East 79th Street at Second Avenue is typical of its era, but it has a bit more flair than many of its contemporaries because it has an unusual entrance that is slightly angled and has a free-standing, stainless steel column.

It was erected in 1957 and converted to a cooperative in 1984. It has 206 apartments." Read Carter's Full Review
