Overview of Quay Tower at 50 Bridge Park Drive

Quay Tower is a 30-story condominium at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, completed in 2018 by developers RAL Companies, Oliver's Realty Group (principal David Wine), and Vanke US. Designed by ODA New York (principal Eran Chen) with interiors by Marmal Radziner, the building contains 126 apartments and is seeking LEED Silver Certification. The tower features dark copper colored façade elements with three story high spaces, some recessed to create loggias, while the lower portion uses precast concrete elements. A related 15 story mixed use rental building at 15 Bridge Park Drive, developed by the same team, sits nearby with 140 apartments, 100 of which are affordable.

The building offers unobstructed views of Brooklyn Bridge Park, the East River, New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and the Manhattan skyline through floor to ceiling windows. The double height lobby features walnut paneling and a marble fireplace. Amenities include a 2,500 square foot fitness center with Peloton bikes and a boxing corner, two rooftop spaces (a north facing Sunset Lounge with fireplace and catering kitchen, and a south facing Sky Cabana with BBQ stations and outdoor dining areas), a 1,500 square foot children's playroom, a music room with a baby grand piano, a pet washing station with dryer, bike parking, resident storage, and 24 hour concierge service with doorman and valet parking.

Apartments range from two to six bedrooms (1,214 to 4,496 square feet) and feature wide plank oak flooring, white oak kitchen cabinetry, White Princess Quartzite countertops with leathered finish, and fully integrated Gaggenau appliances with a five-year warranty. Kitchens include peninsula islands or breakfast bars, Insinkerator garbage disposals, and in some cases wine refrigerators and double ovens. Bathrooms are finished with Alabastrio Rustico travertine marble, custom brushed oak vanities, cast stone double sinks, radiant heated floors, and freestanding tubs in primary suites. All units include full size vented Whirlpool washers and dryers, multi zone heating and cooling, and prewiring for motorized shades.

Larger units feature private high speed elevator access, long entrance galleries, split wing layouts separating primary from secondary bedrooms, walk in closets, and powder rooms with Calacatta Borghinin marble. Many west facing units include mudrooms with custom Italian cabinetry and cork walls for displaying children's art and photos. One notable six-bedroom, 4,496 square foot residence was custom designed by The Brooklyn Home Company early in development, featuring a unique kitchen layout with a Lacanche Savigny Classique gas range, Sub Zero beverage refrigerator, custom millwork throughout, a library, Tadelakt plaster finishes, and California Closets systems.

Quay Tower sits at the southern end of the 85-acre Brooklyn Bridge Park, designed by landscape architecture firm Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, which spans 1.3 miles along the waterfront with rolling hills, promenades, gardens, sports fields, playgrounds, and ferry service. The building is steps from the brownstone lined streets of Brooklyn Heights and Atlantic Avenue shopping, with nearby access to Trader Joe's, Wegmans at the Navy Yard, and multiple subway lines including the R, 2/3, 4/5, A/C, and F trains. A private parking garage is available across the street for a fee.
