225 Rector Place is a 24-story condominium building in Battery Park City that boasts 289 residences ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. Rector Place features views of the Hudson River, New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty and the downtown skyline as well as immediate access to Rector Place Park, an elegant green space, which is located right across the street. The building was completed in 1986 as rental apartments called Parc Place, but it has been completely redeveloped to become a sought-after building in lower Manhattan that has been redesigned starting in 2007.

In addition to its formidable granite and brick exterior and its park-like setting, the interior of 225 Rector Place also draws pretty rave reviews. Residents are not shy about calling their home charming and luxurious and up-to-date. Inspired by the setting and views and the generous windows, the multi-talented design artist Clodagh was brought in to create a Zen-like vibe throughout the building.

All residences offer high-quality oak flooring, modern integrated appliances and luxurious surfaces and materials, plus kitchen and bathroom accessories from Clodaghs own design collections. The warm Eastern theme can be seen throughout each unit as both the kitchen and bathrooms have these design detailing. Kitchens have stainless steel appliances by Liebherr and the marble baths have a deep soaking tub.

The building also features some pretty sweet amenities, including a 40-foot indoor pool with dramatic, over-sized skylights; a rooftop sun terrace with outdoor dining and grilling plus a fully furnished cabana; two-story state-of-the-art fitness center, childrens playroom, lounge, and 24-hour concierge services.
