This attractive, 8-story, mid-block cooperative apartment building at 102 West 80^th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues was erected in 1901 and has 65 apartments.

The building is adjacent to the very handsome Orleans rental apartment building at 100 West 80^th Street on the southeast corner of Columbus Avenue that is directly across from the very handsome Warwick Arms cooperative apartment building at 101 West 80^th Street.  Both of these buildings were erected about the same time at 102 West 80^th Street and they front on Manhattan Square and the rear of the American Museum of Natural History.

A recent renovation restored a handsome missing cornice.

There is good cross-town bus transportation and numerous restaurants and boutiques nearby.

Bottom Line

A central and prime Upper West Side location that is a short walk to the American Museum of Natural History and numerous restaurants and cafes. 

The attractive building has many bay windows, a two-story rusticated limestone base and front fire-escapes.

Apartment 61 is a one-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long entry foyer that leads in one director to an 18-foot-long living room with a three-window, curved bay window and in the other to the bedroom and a triangular, 8-foot-wide, open kitchen.

Apartment 23 is a studio unit with 335 square feet with a three-window, curved bay window and a small open kitchen.

Apartment 55 is a studio unit with a 19-foot-long living room and a 5-foot-wide, open kitchen.
