West Pierre is a 22 story pre-war rental on the Upper West Side, designed by Schwartz & Gross in 1928. The 259 apartment building has a beige brick façade, a two story stone base, decorative masonry, and several terraces.
The rental inventory ranges from studios to two bedroom homes. High ceilings and walk-in closets recur in the apartments, with hardwood floors also prevalent; renovated homes may add updated kitchens and bathrooms, while in-unit washer/dryers are part of the apartment mix.
The attended lobby has a full time doorman and concierge, supported by a live-in superintendent. The building also has a laundry room, resident storage, and an optional fitness center, and pets are permitted.
The 1, 2, and 3 trains stop at 72nd Street and Broadway, while Lincoln Center is several blocks south and Riverside Park is to the west. The building was also the site of the 1973 murder of Roseann Quinn, which inspired the novel and film Looking for Mr. Goodbar.
