The beige-brick building has a one-story white marble and gray granite base, an entrance marquee, a concierge, consistent fenestration, a driveway, a garage, lush sidewalk landscaping, and a revolving front door.

It has no health club, no balconies and no roof deck. There is some traffic on First Avenue and the building is not too far from Carl Schurz Park and some excellent private schools. There is good cross-town bus service on 86th Street but subways are not nearby.

There is good local shopping and there are numerous restaurants in the vicinity.
