Park and Shore is a two building condominium complex in the Newport district of Jersey City, completed in 2020 by Strategic Capital and CSCEC. The project pairs a 37 story tower at 75 Park Lane, with 358 residences, with the adjacent 7 story Shore House at 2 Shore Drive, which holds 71 units, for a combined total of 429 homes. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve, both buildings share large angled entrance marquees and a complex, rigorous fenestration pattern. The site sits one block from the Hudson River and the Newport waterfront park, with the Newport PATH station nearby.
The amenity package is among the more extensive in Jersey City. A 25 meter swimming pool with teak spa anchors the fitness offering, alongside a fitness center and spa/therapy room. Social and recreational spaces include a sky lounge with landscaping and a fireplace, a wine tasting lounge with private dining room, a golf simulator, an outdoor putting green, a game room, and a Moby Dick inspired children's play area. The buildings are staffed with a doorman, concierge, and live-in superintendent, and include a business and conference area, rooftop terrace, garden, and on-site parking. In-unit washer/dryer and central AC are standard, and pets are permitted.
Interior finishes differ between the two buildings. At 75 Park Lane, kitchens feature Madreperola Quartzite countertops with waterfall islands and walnut millwork trimmed in satin nickel, while master baths are clad in Arctic white marble with gold Kohler and Duravit fixtures. Shore House kitchens have smoke grey painted oak millwork trimmed in Venetian bronze, with master baths featuring White Begonia stone surrounds and walnut vanities topped with Glacier White Quartz. A typical two bedroom unit at 75 Park Lane runs around 1,325 square feet, with a living and dining room stretching roughly 19 feet.
